In times like this, wherein fear, anxiety and sometimes hatred trying to fill our nerves, all we can do is to pray. Submitting everything to God.
Just like the prayer of Moses in Psalm 90.
It reminds us that God is our dwelling place throughout generations. God is our help and deliverer since the begining of our lives. He is the same Lord, yesterday, today and forever.
2. Before the mountains were borny
or you brought forth the whole world,
God is God even before everything was made.
Our days may come to seventy years,i
or eighty,j if our strength endures;
yet the best of them are but trouble and sorrow,k
for they quickly pass, and we fly away.l
Only God knows the numbers of our remaining days. Our life quickly passes by without us knowing it.
Teach us to number our days,o
that we may gain a heart of wisdom.p
13 Relent, Lord! How longq will it be?
Have compassion on your servants.r
To live one day at a time, savoring each day as if it is our last is a Wisdom we all must ask the Lord.
Numbering out days makes our every morning as equally as memorable of ones birth or death. Each day will be a song of praise and joy, because no one wants a sad ending or begining.
Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us,
for as many years as we have seen trouble.
your splendor to their children.w
In doing this, we will be able to see the purpose of every trial, every hurt, every failure, every tragedy, every trouble that comes to us. All is for us to experience God's saving grace.
17 May the favora of the Lord our God rest on us;
establish the work of our hands for us—
yes, establish the work of our hands.x
My prayer partners
Like Moses teach us to number our days Oh God.
It is the best time to savor the life that God gave us.
Trust God. He never change.
